After weighing "almost 140 forever," Kim Kardashian West says she's dropped down to 116 lbs. — and now she's sharing more about how she got there.

The reality star, 37, posted a glimpse of her workout to her Instagram story on Saturday. She focused on her legs, and shared part of the rigorous routine: four sets of 15 front squats, four sets of 20 kettlebell swings (she uses a 30-lb. weight) and four sets of 30 hip thrusts.

In another video, the mom of three—North, 5, Saint, 2, and Chicago, 7 months—said her own mom, Kris Jenner, was asking for tips. "@krisjenner over here trying to steal my food plan & trainer" Kardashian West captioned the video with the crying-laughing emoji. She also shared that her "abs these days … look good" in a selfie style video. (Related: Are Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Planning On Baby Number Four?)

To tone up, the Kimoji creator has been working with personal trainer and former bodybuilder Melissa Alcantara.

"I work out about an hour-and-a-half every single day, heavyweights," she told E! News. I don't do a lot of cardio. But honestly, like even my mom pulled me aside maybe a week ago and pulls me in a closet and is like, 'What are you doing?' She says, 'I don't care what, I just need to know.' I've been working out really hardcore with a bodybuilder for one year. September is our one-year anniversary." (Related: Kim Kardashian Is Back to Her Pre-Baby Weight, Here's How)

She added, "I didn't see results right away, but when you stick with something and you're consistent, you will. So, I love it."

Dropping the weight has also required changes to Kardashian West's diet. The main change? Cutting back on sugar and trying to eat healthier in general.

"I don't really eat sugar the way that I used to. It doesn't really do it for me," she said. "I've kind of been trained to just eat a lot healthier than I used to. I used to just eat anything and everything and I loved it…So I really do control that now…I don't want to ruin it by just stuffing my face." (Related: The 10 Best Diet Programs For Every Goal)

According to Alcantara, they train together six days a week at 6 a.m., rotating through specific body parts: shoulders, biceps/triceps, and chest/back, as well as three days devoted to legs. They also do some cardio — either short bursts of high intensity or longer, low-intensity walks.

Gaining Weight to Lose Weight REVERSE DIET PHYSIQUE UPDATE Abs are great but I’m over it, I’m done being lean for instagram. I’m done being lean for abs. Yes I want to look good but I don’t want to live my life thinking about my next meal as I’m eating my current meal. I want to feel good and strong and fed lol. I’m a hungry ass woman, I could legit eat my face off but that’s because I’ve taught my body to feel that way. To always be hungry, to always be in a deficit without any breaks. Well enough is enough, so who’s inviting me over for dinner 4 weeks ago before starting my reverse diet I weighed in at 142lbs. started reverse diet calories at 1750, I gained 3.5 lbs and was steady at 146 lbs for 3 weeks. Going on week 4 tomorrow and here we are at 144.5lbs, that’s 1.5 lbs less than I was 3 weeks ago. : Meaning my body is adjusting to the calories well. So last night my coach @coachmarkcarroll (if you thought I was real...check him out) added another 100 calories to my day taking me to 1850. I will most likely put on more weight but it’s gotta be done if I want to bring my metabolism back up to speed. Goal here is to take me up 100 cals every couple of weeks till about 2300 calories at a consistent weight, so that when I lean down a bit I can be lean at much higher calories, somewhere around 1900. Terms to look up Insulin Sensitivity or Insulin Resistant Reverse diet THE FEELS Motivation and mood are up and down some days I’m feelin myself some days I’m not most of my clothes don’t fit anymore lol, which doesn’t help with motivation : At the same time I’m excited af to see my body change and react and be strong. I’m taking advantage of all this food and extra weight to work on areas (strength) that I couldn’t before. So here’s to doing things for yourself and fucking the world  Super smooth skin by @lina_sev_ @sevlaseraesthetics : : : #healthylifestyle #healthyfood #fitfam #fitmom #fitness #fitnessaddict #fitnessmotivation #fitnessjourney #bodybuilding #throwbackthursday #fitspo #motivation #inspiration #beautiful #love #gains #booty #goals #weightloss #weightlossjourney #reversediet #diet

"She loves and hates leg days," Alcantara said in an exclusive interview with People. "But she's committed! She knows what it takes, but it's also really grueling. It's heavy, it's killer, but she'll be like, 'Alright, let's do it!' She's a workhorse."
